In order to optimize the ongoing performance of LEED Home features and equipment in the homes of Green Harbor Point over time, it is important that homeowners are educated about the performance of their home.

Each home owner will be supplied with a manual/binder that includes the following items:

1. The LEED FOR HOMES Rating Certificate.
2. The completed checklist of LEED FOR HOMES features.
3. Product manufacturer’s manuals for all installed equipment, features, and appliances.
4. General information on efficient use of energy, water, and natural resources.
5. Educational information on Green Power.

In addition, each homeowner will be given a minimum 60-minute walkthrough of the home before closing to include:

1. Identification of all installed equipment.
2. How to appropriately use measures and operate equipment in the home.
3. How to appropriately maintain the measures and equipment in the home.
