Clean Up Your Waste
The amount of job-site waste resulting from construction of the average US home is 4.0 pounds per square foot of conditioned space, totaling about 8,000 pounds and taking up 50 cubic yards of landfill space for a 2000 square foot home.

All waste from the construction of Green Harbor Point was tracked and limited to less than 2.5 lbs per square foot. This is 50% less than the national average.

83% of the finished square feet are built in factory environment, ensuring that no lumber, drywall mud, or paint is wasted and no environmentally harmful chemicals are disposed of improperly.

Other waste reduction and sustainability measures that were used in the construction of Green Harbor Point include the usage of local sources (reducing energy consumption), creating Durability Plans of Homes (giving appropriate attention to durability-related features) and using environmentally preferable products (lessening harmfulness to the environment).
