The beta test of the blog comments feature has been started.  When activated the beta test allowed your readers to post comments about your blog.  The comments go into a queue allowing you to approve insightful comments and questions while weeding out the spam, advertisements, and other inappropriate comments that may appear. 

Currently, to enable comments you need to contact 4syndication.  Once the beta test period is complete a button will be added to your blog controls to enable full control over whether comments are active on your blog or not.  If you have a custom template for your blog we may need to upgrade your template to allow us to turn on comments.

If comments are active and you have comments awaiting approval a message will appear in your item list page ( www.4syndication.com/account/viewItems.do ) from there you can approve or reject comments.  Once they are approved they will appear at the bottom of your blog post.

I've enabled comments on this blog as an example and posted four comments: a normal, approved comment; a rejected comment; a comment awaiting approval; and a follow-up comment to the first comment.
