Why Building A Paver Labyrinth Has Become As Easy As Installing A Patio

When I talk to contractors about installing our paver labyrinth kits, one of the most frequent questions I get is: How complicated is it?

The short answer to that is this: Though it may look complex, it's basically goes in as easy as a patio.

One contractor who recently built a labyrinth from our rather elaborate 21'+ Chelsea a la Chartres(tm) kit commented to me that it actually went in easier than a patio because everything was so organized and his crew did not have to think. And he's right. All the pre-cut pavers in the kit are organized on individual sheets of plywood. The turns are formed from our unique pre-molded shapes. The central rosette and perimeter lunations (the scallop-shaped edge) are pre-cut and logically packaged.

With each installation we collect feedback from contractors and their crews. As a result, we have been able to make progressive refinements that have helped to organize the materials better, make the instructions clearer, and reduce the time required for completion. So now with the current version of the kits, if you read the instructions, look at the diagrams and pictures, then follow the steps starting at page one and ending at page 36, you should come out with as close to a perfect installation as possible. Even our largest and most complex kit, our flagship 39'+ Chartres Replica(tm), can be installed in less than two days.

If you have a chance to tune in to one of the upcoming broadcasts of "Rock Solid" on the DIY Network (May 20th, 21st, 24th and June 4th), you'll be able to get a really good idea of how easily these labyrinths come together.
