| One of our clients - a large, stable, billion-dollar company - has an immediate need for strong Software/Network Security Engineers for its Baltimore-based defense electronics business. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. The primary function for this position is to assess and fix security vulnerabilities with COTS products (OS, applications servers, etc.) used to build large defense systems. Our customer builds defense systems from a mix of COTS products and custom application development. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying security issues with products such as Apache, Windows, Unix, Linux, Oracle, Weblogic, etc. and resolving those vulnerabilities (hardening).

| | Requirements: | - 3-5 years of experience working as a software/network security engineer with knowledge related to the following: system security and hardening of operating systems and applications; intrusion detection/prevention; DMZ/firewalls/ACLs; auditing; Cross Domain Solutions; SOA/ WS Security; Single Sign-On (web and thick client methods); PKI, Authentication/Authorization. - Experience with one or more of the following products: ISS RealSecure, Proventia, Prism Microsystems EventTracker, TSABI: Radiant Mercury, SABI: ISSE Guard, NCES Security Services, Symantec/McAfee AntiVirus. - Experience with scripting languages including unix, windows, perl, etc. - Active DoD Secret Clearance |
