You can expect to be on site with our client long term. Future projects will be on site at other Baltimore area clients or in house at our Development Solutions Center in North Baltimore city.

One of our customers in Owings Mills is looking for a Senior J2EE Developer to join their team as a full time employee.  Experience with HIPAA and/or EDI and X12 standards is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
-  Responsible for leading the design and development of all aspects of the business domain layer, EJBs, Hibernate, business objects, JMS.
-  Responsible for development and unit testing of business layer code and HIPAA transactions.
-  Responsible for UML designs for presentation layer.

-  Minimum of 5 years experience leading J2EE development projects.
-  Must have solid experience with J2EE and EJB/Hibernate development.
-  Must have strong experience with Java and database development - DB2 or Oracle.
-  Must have strong UML and OOAD design skills.
-  Strong design and design pattern skills.
-  Experience using the Rational development tools in J2EE development projects.
-  Health care and insurance experience a plus.
-  HIPAA claims processing experience a plus.
-  Experience with RUP and iterative development.
-  Strong communication skills.

A contractor will also be considered for this position. We are open to 1099 or W2 contractors. Our W2 contractors are eligible for full G1440 benefits.
