This position is intended to lead to full time direct employment with our client.

One of our customers located in Timonium, MD has an immediate need for multiple talented .Net developers with a particular focus in SQL Server database development including ETL (SSIS), reporting (SSRS), TSQL, etc. The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing in an Agile development environment and follow proper development practices including source control and established coding standards. Commercial software development experience is a plus.

Required Skills/Experiences

- Experience with Microsoft .NET platform concepts including garbage collection and exception handling
- Familiar with basic C# syntax and correct usage
- Understand object-orientated design principles and patterns
- Understand Web technologies including (X)HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTTP
- Understand relational database concepts including schema design with primary-key, foreign-key, and triggers
- Familiar with SQL syntax and correct usage

Desired Skills/Experiences

- Knowledge of ASP.NET concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL programming
- Experience with any reporting services including SQL Server Reporting Services
- Experience with any ETL tools including SQL Server Integration Services
- Knowledge of multi-layered architecture
- Experience with any object-relational mapping tool including Hibernate
- Experience with unit-testing concepts and tools
- Familiar with Visual Studio .NET IDE
- Experience with agile software development methodologies

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.

A contractor will also be considered for this position. We are open to 1099 or W2 contractors. Our W2 contractors are eligible for full G1440 benefits.
