You can expect to be on site with our client long term. Future projects will be on site at other Baltimore area clients or in house at our Development Solutions Center in North Baltimore city.

Our client, a well-known international company headquartered in Baltimore City, has an immediate need for a .Net developer to be a lead on a project utilizing Microsoft SharePoint. They are looking for a senior level candidate with a solid background with Microsoft SharePoint. The ideal candidates will join a team on a current project and should expect to be onsite for at least 6 months.

In this role the successful candidate will provide technical support to resolve production problems on web-based and client server applications, conduct analysis, programming, testing and documentation activities to modify and enhance applications.

Seeking a team player with:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
- 5+ years of experience in programming, developing and deploying enterprise-level, Web-based solutions
- Hands-on experience developing with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
- Intermediate expertise developing SQL Stored Procedures and DTS packages
- .Net (ASP.net, C#) development experience
- Experience with Sharepoint Services including Sharepoint Portal Server and custom web part development
- Strong OO Analysis and Design
- Experience with development best practices
- Strong debugging skills
- Strong creative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills

Desired Skills:
- Intermediate expertise with SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services, Integration Services and/or Analysis Services
- Visual Basic experience
- Crystal Reports (version 8.5 or higher)
- InstallShield experience
- XML and XSL experience

A contractor will also be considered for this position. We are open to 1099 or W2 contractors. Our W2 contractors are eligible for full G1440 benefits.
