If you are flying with US Airways beginning today, March 5, 2007, and until further notice, make sure that you arrive at the airport about 30-minutes earlier today as the lines for check-in could be longer than what you are used to. The automated check-in kiosks are malfunctioning, and as a result, only the regular person to person check-in style will be in effect for at least today. This problem will likely be most noticeable in the lines at the US Airways hub airports, Boston, Reagan National, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, etc. Keep in mind that the flights departing the airport will not be delayed because of this problem, so a prudent arrival time at the airport with the check-in delay factored in could keep you from missing your flight today.
