As we get deeper into severe weather season, March 15-October-15, it becomes more important to strategies how best to avoid the major delays associated with such stormy conditions. It always helps to avoid flying out of, to, or through major hub locations like Chicago O’Hare, N.Y. LaGuardia, Los Angeles International, etc. Think smaller airports, lesser air traffic volume, equaling shorter delays, if any! That’s right! Instead of O’Hare, use Midway. Instead of LaGuardia, use White Plains or Islip. Instead of LAX, use John Wayne, Burbank, etc., etc., etc. This little trick will usually save you literally hours of unnecessary waits during your air travel.
