Sorry, I don't have a Black Boar cue to sell you. However I applaud your
efforts to try and capture the genius and essence of Tony and his cues.
Anybody who sets up a cue making shop and carpets it wall to wall is
certainly on a different path. Tony has explained some of his cue making
philosophy and physics to me and it is compelling. At once simple and
endlessly complex, I think that's what makes many of us identify with those
guys in The Endless Summer; always looking for that perfect wave. Through
his work Tony debunks quite a few myths. His artistry with computer
generated designs and inlay machinery and techniques trumps the notion that
these types of things are so simple a caveman can do it with stellar results
and breathtaking detail and designs. His approach to creating and
assembling the components of the butt of a cue is based on a lifetime of
information gathered from the worlds greatest cue makers as well as Tony's
unique ability to distill such information to its most useful and effective
practical applications. He is truly a character and probably a boarderline
genius and I'll bet you a double corona that he will ultimately be
recognized as one of the top cue makers of all times. Good luck with your
project!
