A problem for some small businesses is obtaining the resources with the knowledge, information, and skills necessary to select, implement and maintain the technology necessary to address these and other priorities. They have solved this problem by engaging a qualified Managed IT Services provider who will cost effectively obtain, deploy and support the right technologies for their businesses.• Providing secure and efficient connectivity for more employees, from the field and from home, to the office.
• Archiving and backing up critical data to meet various compliance issues and to ensure continuous operations.
• Upgrading network infrastructure for increased capacity, performance and reliability. This includes servers, firewalls, workstations and software, and communications services.
• Providing critical applications for accounting, CRM, service management, and fulfillment.
• Implementing applications for mobile and remote employees.
• Developing disaster recovery and contingency capabilities.
A Managed IT Services provider is more just than an IT services company you call on when the network is down, or you need a new PC. A Managed Services provider provides technology-planning assistance, and works with you on a regular basis to help ensure your technology-investments support your business needs and plans for growth. The Managed Services provider proactively supports your IT infrastructure by ensuring performance, availability and reliability of your network with appropriate and reliable data backup, and information security. When you engage a Managed Services provider you should receive value added consulting and advice, regarding new technology options for your business. And, best of all, you will have a predictable budget for maintaining your IT infrastructure with no surprises.
